We process technical data necessary to operate and secure the INFODAYS.eu website under Article 6(1)(e) GDPR, as part of the public-interest tasks entrusted to DZS in connection with Erasmus+ and related information events. The processing is based on Section 5(b) of Czech Act No. 110/2019 Coll.; the entrusted tasks are specified in Articles IV and V(a) and (t) of the DZS founding charter, as amended.
Retention
We retain ordinary access and error logs for no longer than 12 months from their creation. Records needed to address a specific incident are retained separately for as long as necessary to investigate and resolve it or to establish, exercise or defend specific legal claims.

User-level and event-level data retention in Google Analytics 4 is set to no more than 14 months. Google deletes expired data through its scheduled monthly deletion process. This setting does not apply to standard aggregated reports and is separate from browser cookie lifetime.

10. Service Providers and Recipients
Personal data are accessible, where necessary, to authorised DZS staff and the following providers: Websupport s.r.o. (web hosting) and, after your consent, Google Ireland Limited (Google Analytics website statistics). Website administration is carried out by DZS staff. Processors act under an agreement and DZS instructions. Data may also be disclosed to public authorities where required by law.
11. Transfers Outside the European Economic Area
When you use Google Analytics (after your consent), personal data may be transferred to Google LLC in the United States. The transfer is based on the European Commission adequacy decision for the EU–US Data Privacy Framework, under which Google LLC is certified.
12. Registration for Central European Joint Infodays
The Central European Joint Infodays are organised jointly by participating Erasmus+ National Agencies.
For the 2026 event, the hosting National Agency is the Tempus Public Foundation (Hungary), with national agencies from Austria, Czechia, Slovakia and Slovenia participating as co-organisers.
Registration for an individual INFODAYS event may involve the processing of additional personal data, for example:
- first and last name;
- email address and other contact details;
- organisation or institution;
- country;
- professional position;
- information about the participant’s interests, project idea or motivation;
- information necessary for organising meetings, workshops or networking activities.

Participants who apply through another National Agency receive privacy information from that agency.

13. Photographs and Audio-Visual Recordings
Photographs, video recordings or audio recordings may be taken during individual Central European Joint Infodays events.

14. Data Retention
Personal data is retained only for as long as necessary for the purpose for which it was collected and in accordance with applicable legal and internal retention requirements.
Retention periods for ordinary access and error logs are specified in Section 3, cookie lifetimes in Sections 5, 6 and 7, and GA4 data retention in Section 7. Retention periods for event registration and event documentation are set out in the privacy notices for the relevant event.
