About the event
The Central European Joint Infodays 2026 (training seminar focusing on Erasmus+ international centralised actions in higher education) are organized by Erasmus+ National Agencies from four neighbouring countries: Czechia, Austria, Hungary and Slovakia. In addition, as a guest NA, the Slovenian National Agency is joining the co-organizing team for this year’s edition.
This year, the event will take place in Budapest on 10–11 December 2026 and it will be organized as an Erasmus+ Training and Cooperation Activity (TCA).
The event is set in the context of the Erasmus+ Call for Proposals 2027 and will focus mainly on the international dimension of the programme, i. e. actions supporting cooperation between Erasmus+ Programme and Partner Countries in the higher education sector.
The following actions will be covered:
- Erasmus Mundus (Joint Masters and Design Measures)
- Jean Monnet (Chairs, Modules, Centres of Excellence and Networks)
The event is targeting both higher education institutions who have a specific project idea and are preparing a project application for the call 2026 and higher education institutions who may be thinking about applying and want to gain more knowledge and understanding of the actions mentioned above. During the event the participants will have the opportunity to get general information about all the actions mentioned above and then to participate in practical workshops and thus learn more detailed information about actions based on individual interests.
During the event there will also be opportunities for networking (including the possibility of pre-arranged bilateral meetings) among the participating higher education institutions from the five EU countries and from selected countries outside of the EU. Furthermore, there will be opportunity for networking and consultations with representatives of the national agencies, the European Commission and selected National Erasmus+ Offices/Erasmus+ National Focus Points in countries outside of the EU.
Programme elements will include:
- Guide to centralised actions (mentioned above)
- Policy updates
- Programme management training
- In-depth workshops on each action
- Networking possibilities (both onsite and prearranged)
